2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our platform, we collect and store:

• Startup Submission Information: The submitted website URL, product name, description, category, logo/OpenGraph image, and social media handles. This information is published publicly on your startup's directory page and cohort leaderboards.
• Account & Contact Credentials: When you sign up, authenticate, or claim a listing, we collect your email address and authentication tokens to allow you to manage your listings and receive launch updates.
• Payment & Transaction Identifiers: When you purchase a Starter ($5) or Premium ($25) launch plan, our payment processor transmits confirmation metadata: your customer billing email, order date, transaction amount, and Dodo Payments session identifier. We never receive, process, or store your credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank details.
• Directory & Badge Telemetry: For listings submitted under the Free tier, our automated crawlers periodically verify whether the required Outrank verification badge remains live on your site to maintain active dofollow backlinks.

3. Secure Payment Processing via Dodo Payments

All payments for paid launch tiers ($5 Starter and $25 Premium one-time fees) are securely processed by Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record).

Dodo Payments is fully PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant and handles all credit card processing, currency conversion, fraud detection, and tax collection. Your financial payment details are transmitted directly to Dodo Payments using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption and never pass through our servers.

4. Cookies, Session Tokens & Local Storage

We use lightweight local browser storage (localStorage) to store your preferred interface theme (Light or Dark mode). Standard secure HTTP session cookies are used strictly to maintain your authenticated login state. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers, invasive spyware, or cross-site commercial profiling cookies.

5. How We Use Your Data

• Publishing and indexing your product profile on outrank.co.in and category pages.
• Writing and publishing dedicated editorial SEO blog teardowns (for Starter and Premium plan customers).
• Distributing your product link to our builder network (Share with Real 30+ or 50+ Founders).
• Sending necessary transactional notifications, such as checkout receipts, launch verification notices, and badge status alerts.

6. Founder Rights & Data Deletion

If you are the verified creator or domain owner of a startup listed on Outrank and wish to update listing metadata, change your link, or request permanent deletion of your profile and data, you can do so from your dashboard or by emailing our support desk. We promptly fulfill verified takedown or data deletion requests.
